Abstract: The traditional ethnic culture of the Buyi Nationality has two basic characteristics of "binary complex type" and "selfdiscipline".
The construction of the clean government culture in the Buyi region should be based on the moral guidance and
punishment effect of the folk beliefs and customary laws, and absorb the autonomy spirit, the contract spirit, the supervision system and
the Buyi social group. It is also important to give full play to time value of the Buyi nationality cultural tradition in contemporary honest
government cultural construction.
